Here are the first available runway pix from last weekend's fabulous FIDM Debut 2008 Fashion Show! Each year, the Debut show features designs by our Graduating Students in the Fashion Design and Theatre Costume Design Advanced Study Programs, plus work from our Interior Design, Textile Design, and Digital Media Students. There are special preview Fashion Shows for High School Students and Instructors and a Gala Event for Industry Members.

Runway Report: Debut 2007 Highlights

From the Fashion Club Debut Pre-Party to the Fender guitars custom-designed by FIDM Graphic Design Students to the incredible fashion collections by Fashion Design Advanced Study program Students and circus-themed costume designs from the Theatre Costume Design Advanced Study Students, this year's FIDM Debut Fashion Show was fabulous from start to finish.

The Debut show is FIDM's biggest and most high-profile annual event and this year was no exception. Throughout the weekend the runway show is presented to hundreds of high school students and, on Gala Night, top industry leaders and stylish celebrities. Here are some highlights from Debut 2007's unforgettable fashion extravaganza! --Kim

Nick Verreos Update

FIDM Instructor and Project Runway: Season 2 star Nick Verreos will be very busy with FIDM events in 2007. In addition to attending the upcoming Debut 2007 Pre-Party and Fashion Show, Nick will be speaking at two FIDM Open Houses and our popular summer programs for High School Students, "3 Days of Fashion," on all four campuses in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Orange County, and San Diego. He'll also be serving as a Celebrity Judge for our national Designer of Tomorrow Scholarship. We'll keep you updated as events unfold! --Kim
